| Folklore ensemble "Pavet'e"
was created in an ancient city Voronezh in the middle of Russia. It's
more than 10 years. The group performs ancient ethnographical music, collects
folk traditions, dances and games. It has great experience of performing
abroad: in the USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Finland and others. "Pavete'e"
works as a concert group, as well as a concert-lecture one with demonstrations
of traditional costumes of 19th - beginning of 20th
centuries. Such performances are conducted with narration about ancient
traditions of South Russia's villages. The ensemble also has experience
of school teaching of old games and dances. There are eight participants
in the group. Their average age is nearly 30. All the Pavet'e's participants
are skillful in old embroidery, needlework and braiding with beads.
